Where services pass through separating elements and/or compartment walls or floors, there is also a clear potential for compartment breach unless specific tested measures are taken to prevent it.
Systems are designed to provide the required resistance at the point of service penetration or joint for fire resistance period detailed maintaining the compartmentation.
